"I Saw the Sun (Gnei Grdm) is a Turkish film by Mahsun Krmzgl. In the film two brothers go on opposite sides in a Turkish-Kurdish conflict; it opened at the number one position at the Turkish box office in 2009. The film was announced as the Turkish submission to the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in September 2009."
